Continue or Temporarily Shelf Friday’s Photo Blog Hop?

Those of you who follow a number of blogs, like I do, know how much fun blog hops and link-ups are. You can go to one post and scroll through dozens and dozens, sometimes hundreds, of post thumbnails and titles and click on the ones of interest to you.

Your Gardening Friend’s Friday’s Photo Blog Hop is at week 14, and it’s not quite the “hoppening” place I had hoped for. But that’s okay!!! (At least that’s what I keep telling myself. ;) )

I’m so thankful (to God and you) for all the readers and interaction on this site, and the Facebook fanpage. Thanks for your support, and if the hop must take a blog hibernation nap, maybe it will wake up strong a few months from now. :)

I think I’ll give it a few more weeks to see if things turn around. This is where YOU come in. Link up and spread the news!! :D I’ve also decided to start publishing them late Thursday evenings, to see if that helps.

I’m assuming you have to have your own blog to understand what exactly a blog hop is, right? I mean, I sort of get it, but it’s one blogger linking up with another blogger’s blog, right?

Yeah, pretty much, but bloggers and non-bloggers get to benefit from the link-ups with all the stories and helpful how-to’s. However, we ALWAYS love to hear from non-bloggers in the comments section. If someone doesn’t have a blog, they can share all their stories in that area.

Jill @ The Prairie Homestead, has a great weekly blog hop, if you want to get a better picture of what it’s all about. It’s a lot of fun! Here’s the link to her most recent Homestead Barn Hop
